Church Ministries
Bus Ministry
Our bus ministry was started in 2005 when we obtained a used bus given to the church by two christian businessmen. The bus was promptly painted and put into service for the Lord and started bringing in children from our area to sunday school and church. Through the generosity of faithful servants, this ministry has now expanded to two bus routes that reach children in both Muskegon and Fruitport/Springlake. We love the bus ministry and are thankful for the dedicated church workers who give their time each Saturday and Sunday to serve the Lord and bring children to Jesus. Approximately 30 children attend church each week because of the bus ministry.
Shut-Ins
Church and bus visitation is held each Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
Audio Ministry
The audio ministry provides recordings of each church service in CD format. Efforts are ongoing to expand this ministry to include podcasts of each Bible message on this website.
Junior Church
Preschool and primary children have the opportunity to attend a service concurrent with the regular church service. The junior church attendees are able to hear a Bible message that is specifically tailored for their young hearts and minds. Our faithful workers make these services a special time to hear of God’s love.
Handbell Choir
The handbell choir meets for practice every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. While the handbell choir was initially formed in order to engage bus children, the group now includes both children and adults who enjoy serving God through music. The unique nature of the handbells allows for all those with a willing spirit to actively participate in making a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Fifty-Five Plus Fellowships
Our Fifty-Five Plus fellowship luncheons are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. This gathering of senior saints is a wonderful time of enjoying Christian fellowship and delicious food.
Nursery
A nursery for children 3 years of age and younger is provided for each regularly scheduled service.
Sunday School
The LBLBC Sunday School hour includes classes for both children and adults. Children are divided into preschool, primary, teen boys, and teen girls groups. Adults may choose between the Growing in Grace class or the Auditorium class.
Orchestra
The orchestra meets for practice each Sunday Evening at 5:30 p.m.
